Five-member, quasi-judicial commission charged with hearing cases about variances, special exceptions, and appeals of administrative decisions. |
| DC Office of Zoning (DCOZ) |
Prepares planning analyses of specific zoning cases for the BZA and the Zoning Commission. Uses its analyses of the Comprehensive Plan, land use compatibility, zoning requirements, urban design, public service and cost impacts, and other factors to recommend application approval or denial to the BZA and the Zoning Commission. |

Designated authority to implement, administer and enforce Zoning Regulations, as adopted by the Zoning Commission.
